When you make a novice, you will automatically be given the MC Newbie Pack.

Inside the MC Newbie Pack is:
10 Concentration Potions
1 Chicken Hat[1] (1% chance str +3, 1%chance of int +3)
1 Strong Branch[1] (Weapon, +300 ATK)
1 Midgard Mail[1] (Vit +2)
1 Midgard Manteau (Int +2)
1 MidGuard[1] (Dex +2, Str +2)
1 Midgard Shoes (Agi +2)

Aside from the instant reward of the MC Newbie Pack, you will be started in the Garden of Trials which has a number of simple quests to receive some battle manuals, bubble gum, and even more equips! After you get to town, there is a simple quest for +5 all stat wings! More quests are being worked on everyday for equips for anyone who cannot afford donating! Even now, the custom mobs drop headgears well worth the hunt, including a 10% resistance to all elements Rainbowing Hat!
