Hello MCians'

For some of you, the air is getting chilly and outdoors has become a blanket of snow. What are you going to do to keep yourself warm this winter? Its December and time for another round of Design a Headgear! Like summer, you get to design a headgear to be made and brought to Midgard.
Note that we arent judging you on your drawing skills. Our judges will select the headgear on how creative, eye catching, and how the headgear relates to the theme overall. This seasons themes are Winter Warmth and Inspired by Snow

The deadline for these entries are 012/25/2011!

Rules!

You are alowed to submit as many headgears as you like. But remember quality over quantity.

You can submit your entry into any type of drawing format (ie: Pixel art, digital art, traditional art) or writing a detailed description. If you are writing a description and not drawing, you are alowed to provide images to support your idea.

Remember your entry must be Winter Warmth or Inspired by Snow themed.

Your entry must be your original idea! No posting someone else's work or items from other servers.

What ever happened to publicly releasing the summer headgear?
Shouldn't we think of that before starting another contest? x_x

Atleast the summer headgear was made and given to the winner within a couple weeks. Makes the prize a bit more valuable?

This is actually my fault that it wasn't released yet. I'm working and will have the leaf wing quest out for everyone shortly. I've had a lot of stuff come up in last few weeks so just haven't had time to push it fully out. You shall be able to do it soon, and I'll make sure this time around it's released in a timelier fashion. And good luck to all those that enter. =]

I am only use to using GIMP art, so I drew it by hand. these was the 5 ideas I could only think of for the winter warmth + snow theme. I hope you like them.

Cruiser Hat : makes you feel like your part of the nutcracker story. (Upper Headgear)
Toy Man Winder: Winde them up and watch them walk away. (Lower Headgear)
Siroma Cap: Cute Warm and Fuzzy, they must be warm if they smile in a ice cave! (Upper Headgear)
Ever Green Pom Pom: Feeling natures enjoyment, you love spreads to all around you. (Upper Headgear)
Spirit of Winter Kiss: ~The joy of Winter will never end under a mistletoe~. (Middle Headgear)

Aww nice entries so far.. since I don't have the time to draw as of stress I will describe my ideas I have (might aswell tell you why I got the idea)
Winter... the wonderful time where you can see snow (I soo love snow) but so far haven't even see a snowflake yet ;_;
--> Idea 1: A snow globe on your head so while you walk or stand you can see the snow inside it fall down.. idea for an image if you are dead that it breaks and lies on the ground with the broken glass thing(?)

--> Idea 2: Winter Sports is always fun like skiing or snow boarding so we could have either skis or snow boards on our back and maybe go together in par with snow goggles you wear <3

question. could it be 3D model art as well? just wandering. And what does it mean by writing description with no drawing? Like if I write a description of the item, just find image example is fine? Sorry I am a little confused of this.

I can't draw so I'm just going to write what I want the design to be like. IF I get selected and there are areas where the designer is uncertain I'm willing to explain in more detail.

First Idea:
Create a similar concept to the rose ring, but instead having a Santa Claus Head and than having HO HO HO or Cookies/Milk Images as the other flowers.

Second Idea:
Is for a Lower Head Gear, make a icicle beard.

Third Idea:
Also Lower Gear Puff of Cold Air, like when we first step out of the house and let out a deep breathe it is a little puff of white air in front of us.

Fourth Idea:
Similar another Rose Ringish Idea: Have presents that open and close spinning around.

Fifth Idea:
A HUGE snowflake in the shape of the wing, kind of like a person sitting in the middle of a snowflake.

Just some sugestions.
Head of Chrismast Deer = with bells look more cute
Golden Santa's Beard = Make Santa become more attractive
Christmas candy in Mouth = Same with Flower in Mouth, but more Sweeter xD

Sixth Idea: Fruit Cake Hat

Seventh Idea: CHRISTMAS TREE HAT with flashing lights

I don't know if it is possible to make. But have a Cypher concept, but when you walk it will flash Merry Christmas, and than the next step Flash Happy New Years.

Mistletoe clip

Mistletoe symbolizes "love".
Since a mistletoe has been a part of Christmas ever since, in my opinion it would be best if we could have this one too - to have more of that Christmas season feeling.




Snowflake Ribbon

J' adore, a snowflake ribbon is perfect for this season.
