Ever played on a server and thought "Hey I have a great idea for a quest! (or a map or an item or anything), but I don't know how I can contribute this idea"? Well that's all about to change - we are officially looking for Community Contributors!
What this means is that we are looking for active members willing to contribute things to the server, be it scripts, maps, automated event ideas, sprites for items & monsters - anything creative you can contribute, we have a place for you! This differs from posting a suggestion on the forums because you will actually be helping to bring your ideas to life! There will be three groups, each focusing on a different aspect of Midgard Chronicles. You, the players, may apply for the group you like the most, and can either collaborate on a project with others in the group or go at it solo. You will be guided by the group leader, but at the end of the day your only limit is your own imagination.
All contributions must be turned into the group lead for proofing and quality analysis. Once completed, we can work on implementing your contribution. Once accepted into a group, you will not officially be put in the list of contributors on the website until you have actually contributed something.
What benefit do you have for applying? Well first off, anything you contribute, you will get full credit for. For now, just contributing is the reward in itself, but we are working on more rewards for those who contribute (from special map access, to items.. rewards would increase as the server grew). Please note that we are NOT looking for GMs, and that is not what this post is about.

Please note activity is required for all groups. Once accepted into any group, inactivity puts you up for removal from these groups unless you have a reason that you've let the leader know about.

♠ Writers Group ♠
Lead: Fenrir nevelis will oversee this group but is not officially the leader.
♠ This group's main focus will be anything written, namely, scripts. Functional or quest based, it doesn't matter. Prior scripting knowledge is not required, but it is a plus.
♠ If you have ANY scripting knowledge, a sample script is required. Even if you think you don't know enough to provide a sample, anything is better than nothing. Having a sample will help you to be accepted sooner.
♠ If you do not know how to script at all, you will accepted into the group and given lessons. After that you will be given an assignment script to do. If you do not complete your assignment within a week of it being assigned, you will be removed from this group unless you have a reason.

♣ Spraps Group ♣
Lead: Euphoria
♣ This group will mainly focus on spriting, mapping, music, graphics, art. All kinds of artists are invited to apply for this group!
♣ All of these require some sort of samples to apply except mapping. This group cannot teach you to draw, only help you to implement your ideas with your current artist abilities.
♣ If you do not know how to map, you may be accepted into the group, taught how to use Browedit (the map making software), then you will be given an assignment for a simple map. If you do not have this done within a week of its assigning, you will be dropped from the group unless you have a reason.

♥ This groups focus is public relations and advertising, basically getting our name out there and bringing in new players.
♥ This may include things like posting on gaming forums and anywhere you think having our name there would bring in new players. It may also include things like creating banners and advertisement videos.
♥ We strongly discourage advertising on other servers, as we expect the same respect from them; so keep your talk on a neutral forum and please obey their board rules too.
♥ If you create graphics or videos, please provide a sample of these as well, however it is not required.
♥ Whether you have samples or not, please try to let Nomi know why you think you would be a good asset to this group.
